For chronic intractable pain of the limbs, neck or back, this center has extensive experience with implantable spinal cord stimulator system since 1990. Chronic cervico-cranial or occipital pain and peripheral nerve pain have been successfully managed with implantable peripheral stimulator systems. With over 400 stimulators implanted to date, the rate of infection is less than 1%, considerably lower than the national rate. Our commitment toward patient safety and allowing the best possible outcome is exemplified in this fact.
